Generally it’s advisable to have only 2 to 3 keywords stuffed in a single page otherwise the crawler will be unable make out any pattern. Too many keywords will confuse the crawlers as none will stand out and hence will not be picked out by them.

After selecting your target keyword and framing the content, read it out loud once or twice, to check if it sounds forced and silly. This will prevent you from shoving keywords forcefully.
